This is to to inform everyone of an important known bug with ship-to-ship battles: Please never attack an enemy warship with multiple warships at once. This can under some circumstances cause all involved ships (of both players) to permanently stall, effectively eliminating them and their soldiers from the game.

stormax-e and I played till about 20:40 CEST (GMT+2) will continue on Wednesday 17:00 CEST. We agreed not to post any save file yet. I made a mistake and started at postion 3 (yellow) please check if this is ok for allof you. Here are the widelands where people may dwell, walking around care that evrythings well.

The game between me and the-x unfortunately showed some crashes due to some major bugs. Therefore I am very sorry but I have to announce, that the first round will be postponed until, the most evil ones are fixed including the one that @Nordfriese mentioned earlier. Sorry for that.

No need to say sorry, that's what the purpose of the tournament: Find bugs. Because naval warefare is such a big change i think it´s normal to find some bugs which are not discovered earlier by small test games Fight simulator for Widelands:

Right after beginning I recognized that mistake too. As we're on the same continent, I guess our setup isn't within the rules of this tournament and we need to start all over again(?)

As this is about Bug Huntig and Having fun, lets have a "Land-Based Peace Agreement" and I try to catch you via Sea only. Here are the widelands where people may dwell, walking around care that evrythings well.

Mars and me tried to play our match, but it crashed very early so we decided to postpone it. The game also crashes if you try to make a test-match with 2 Widelands instances at the same time (same device) which are connected via direct IP - can you reproduce this? The tournament match crashed right at the moment when I tried to build a street with flags, overlooking that the path was blocked by a tree which was marked as "to be cut". I could not reproduce this in singleplayer but who knows, maybe it's a multiplayer bug. Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked
