2021-03-24, 14:10 UTC+1.0 They all seem fine to me; try opening the image itself in a new tab.

2021-03-29, 18:01 UTC+2.0 for the stone part a half layed floor would suffice I think Top Quote |

2021-04-06, 18:04 UTC+2.0 The ground inside the construction site looks a bit like marble, not used by barbarians. Maybe better use some stone-gray color and adding some joints? Something like this The floor layer in this image has problems to get out after finishing his work Top Quote |

2021-04-12, 19:55 UTC+2.0 Keep in mind this is the same pattern used for the barbarians' tower; it's just shrunk somewhat. In all honesty, your suggestion looks to me more like marble than what we have now. In addition, if I used a different material for the floor I'd have to redo all the images for the completed version.

Ok, didn't know that. Nevertheless it looks wrong to me. Maybe because at the tower it looks more like grout, not granite.
As a stonemason i can say: Marble has mostly a cloudy texture whereas the texture of granite is sometimes called "salt & pepper", a granulary texture. They look different because granite and marble have a different genesis: Granite is a product of vulcanic activities, whereas marble was formely a limestone which itself is a product of the sea.
