I think, I find the problem. Some settlers maps create the error, but other settlers maps are oke to load and edit. I go check the maps one at a time, so i have to find the maps that cause the problem.

I checked my settler maps and i found 2 maps that gave the problem. I deleted those maps and everything is working fine now. Attached are the 2 maps that gave the problem. My problem is solved.

Thanks. Indeed, these map files are invalid, but they shouldn't crash the whole map selection menu

That was easy… the fix is a one-liner. We already had code to gracefully skip invalid map files, it just needed a minor extension.
