WL has really small text and it doesn't seem to have an option to make it bigger. --

A larger user interface is one of the most frequently requested features (with numerous forum threads asking for it ^^), but none of the developers has had time and motivation for it yet. Personally, with my non-too-large laptop screen and 1024×768 Widelands game window, I'd find it rather hard to work on it, so it's not on my personal to-do list.
