It seems necessary to establish a glossary to translate the same word the same way throughout the game. For example the word "Sentry" is translated as "Guérite" when you just name the building, but in the sentence : "Your soldiers have occupied your sentry", it is translated by : "poste de faction". IMO it would be better to say : "poste avancé", but it's just to show the potential trouble if you don't 'normalize' the terms. Well so far GunChleoc had been the coordinator of all translations on Transifex. We have a lot of members in the french translations team but it seems most of them are not very active anymore. So I guess you might volunteer for this post Anyhow I will ask Nordfriese or GunChleoc to promote you to the reviewers group so you can review the translations. Apart from this I agree 100% that it is crucial for a good quality to maintain and use the Glossary. Using our Glossary checks I corrected a lot of issues the last time. Only part where we could be more free in translations might be the campaign texts as we might need a wider range of expressions to generate more atmosphere. Top Quote

No kidding, I'm not the 'voluntary' type but like John McClane (Bruce Willis) when asked 'Why are you a cop?' I would say 'Someone has to do it'. I totally agree with you, I spoke about only the basic game for the basic player. The player should never ask questions to try to understand the difference between two appellations when there is none. Could you, please, say me where I can find the Glossary? I must admit that after a night on the translations I am not in the form to search. Thank you in advance. PS: I really need a very big coffee, I'll be back later. For example in file on tournament 2021 : "liders" instead of "leaders" I think. in Textdomain amazons_building : Amazon soldiers need chocolate to train properly. and Amazon soldiers need chocolate to train their soldiers properly. I understood the need of chocolate, Barbarians need Beer and Strong Beer. And "Amazon soldiers need chocolate to train their soldiers properly" is a little heavy. The first form is better IMO.
