-1. The point of Poor Hamlet is that it's meant to be the absolute minimal start – that is, if you take even 1 item away from Poor Hamlet it becomes impossible, and there is nothing extra given whatsoever. If you want a hardcore start with a bit more convenience, play Struggling Outpost instead.

I know that is fine. My point was that it takes almost 3 hours to start with Atlanteans. With Frisians, I hope I remember well, it was one hour?

The minimal starting conditions are not meant to be balanced in any way, so the degree of difficulty as well as the time requirements may vary greatly. They're intended as a puzzle for players to figure out how to bootstrap their economy from almost nothing without getting deadlocked. Widelands is a slow-paced build-up strategy game, and this is especially true when playing the Atlantean Poor Hamlet
