The question was not meant as an ideological one ;D more in the sense of gameplay. The absolute minimum makes you to "must" build the exactly same buildings in a row. yes, maybe 2, 3 woodcutters would be too much but I'd stll prefer choices in economy from a very little start. Top Quote |

Simply no. If you want to ask the question for gameplay, just pick another start condition. This one is clearly defined and represents a consecutive cornercase. If it would be changed, it would be only a matter of (short) time until someone would ask for this again. Even without knowing that this has already been existing. Top Quote |

Simply no, as the question is about the gameplay Edited: 2020-04-27, 23:27

If you want something that is hardcode but offers more than one way to solve, just play Discovery with 3 colonies. The point of Poor Hamlet is that it gives players the absolute minimum needed to start an economy. If there is even 1 ware or worker that could be removed from the starting condition, it should be removed. That's what a minimal start is all about. Top Quote |

pushed poor_hamlet and struggling_outpost startconditions for amazons. Still we need village, fortified village, trading outpost, discovery and new world. Top Quote |
