Hi,

In my opinion the endless game is needless... who wants to play widelands without any designated target?

Maybe my opinion is wrong. So, is there a possibility to change the default gametype from endless game to e.g. Autocrat? Sometimes i forgot to change the game type... and i am wondering that there is no congratulation-message face-grin.png

For me endless game is ok. Because if you and your friends are making a game with non-standard target (for example only destroying the HeadQuaters), endless game provides that possibility.

Of course it can be changed that it is not the default gametype, but it shoudn't be removed face-smile.png

An option "preffered gametype" is surely the best solution face-smile.png

What can perhaps be easily implemented is that the game starter panel shows the option which was last chosen by the user (previous game start, if new session then previous session).

Another possibility would be to attach a "default win condition" to each map.
