2013-07-09, 11:42 UTC+2.0 Hi, I like to see a map preview, but don't know how. I see that if you upload a map, then you got a nice preview of the map. How can I do that. Top Quote |

2013-07-09, 18:04 UTC+2.0 I have a lot of maps (818) and there are some maps I like to rework. Now I have to load the maps into the Widelands Editor, to see how the map looks like. If I could see the map preview in explorer, or some program, it would be a lot easier to decide which map to rework. So, I mean in a program. I tried a lot of image view programs, but no program recognise the file, so no preview. Top Quote |

2013-07-09, 21:21 UTC+2.0 Well, there is no program that can do this, sorry. The website contains Python code that can do it though. The code you need to run is here: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~widelands-dev/widelands-website/trunk/view/head:/widelandslib/map.py#L235. This is not a finished program though and you will need to write a few lines of python to glue it together.... Top Quote |
