hi there! is anyone playing multiplayer? I've been trying to get an online game for a week now and noone seems to go online at all. Am I missing something? this game is too awesome to be ignored like this...

Hi butaro, welcome to the forum!
Yes. The multiplayer lobby is not always full - often it's completely empty - but some players, including me, play quite often.
That's a pity. But you are doing the right thing: Writing in the forum might be one of the best ways to get a game. Not everyone tries to get a match spontaneously, many players prefer to make a date, so to speak.
Maybe you are missing this, but currently it's not used a lot: https://www.widelands.org/scheduling/find/ You could try if someone responds to it.
I think the same. At least the number of multiplayers seems to be growing thanks to the new features of build20. I check the lobby quite often. Since build20 I see often that games are played, before build20 it was rather rare. Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked

By the way, another method to find a match might be to sign up for rated matches: https://www.widelands.org/forum/topic/4599/ Maybe this will motivate someone to play a rated match. Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked
