ggz is a library widelands uses to implement internet gaming. If you select multi player->internet game this lobby uses ggz. With this version multi player games with direct connect work, but going through the online lobby will crash widelands. Top Quote |

this sucks! i renamed the included "widelands-b15-mingw-static.exe" to "widelands.exe" copied it into the wl directory. now the saved game doesn't even start. while loading the error "Spielerinfo: Stamm barbarians:soldier="Soldat":hp expected "nin-max" but found"130" occures and the loading process terminates. you do no need to rename the file. you can simply keep the name. This looks like you tried to use the new file with a recent trunk version. This is a binary from build-15 and the data files need to be from build15 too. To make it easier I now made full packages too. These contain the full widelands game: http://timowi.dyndns.org/wl/build15/widelands-b15-release-win-full-mingw-static-noggz.zip http://timowi.dyndns.org/wl/trunk/widelands-trunk-5466-release-win-full-mingw-static-noggz.zip Edited: 2010-08-13, 12:25

i'm to dumb 4 playin' widelands. after extracting http://timowi.dyndns.org/wl/build15/widelands-b15-release-win-full-mingw-static-noggz.zip and copying it into my wl install diretory i get: Unerwarteter Fehler im Spielverlauf [/opt/src/widelands-bzr/build15/src/graphic/render.cc:547] could not load animation frame tribes/barbarians/carrier/idle_01.png: [/opt/src/widelands-bzr/build15/src/graphic/render.cc:489] wrong size: (19, 25), should be (13, 25) like the first frame Top Quote |

@yeti: The zip from the last post (-full-) ist already the complete widelands package. Do not copy this to an old one. Just extract the zip file and run the game. Only the small package with one *.exe file inside need to be copied to an data directory. Top Quote |
