Hello, First of all, thank you all for this amazing game that you made, very relaxing for me. I'm playing the frisians campaign, and i'm kind of stuck in the «colder than ice» scenario. the objective tell me i need to train soldiers so i can recycle there olds weapons and have some metal so i can bootstrap my mining economy (ie: build the first pick for the first metal miner). But it takes gold to build the training center (and even more gold to build the training area, and there is not even single piece of gold in the starting conditions. From what i read here: https://www.widelands.org/forum/topic/4549/ some people did pass this point (and without even noticing it), so it must be doable but How ? a very simple fix (in the case of the map is broken) would be to provide some used golden furs as a starting point to build the training center and then we can go on… If it is not broken, please tell me where i went wrong Top Quote |

I guess that that's not how it works in that scenario. AFAIK you don't have the picks yet to mine at all. Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked Top Quote |

thank you nordfriese !!, i think i may have read this one a bit to fast… Any way i played in french version (so not sure if it came from translation), but the demantling of the port, is not part of the «objective reminder» so one have to be very carrefull at the first reading Edited: 2020-01-19, 11:59

Thank you, i've a last problem, i can't finish the map. I tracked every bit of red on the map to completely eradicate the empire, but it still dosen't trigger the end of game. is there again something i missed ? This frison campaign was definitly the most challenging and fun :D, my bad, there was a very tiny bit of the empire left, everything works great. Edited: 2020-01-26, 12:26

The designer had the scenario designed in a way that really every single field owned by the red player must be conquered. So please recheck if there are some small spots in the mountains still owned by red. Top Quote |

Thank you hessenfarmer, it was it: there was a very tiny bit of red, chasing it was not the funiest part of the campaign thought. It was really great playing this game again (last time i did was like 5 years ago, the altantes were the experimental ones then) Top Quote |
