Every time I play, I try to have more wares each type. On big maps I use bottleneck strategy: every part of economy is producing more than it is needed, except trainings camps. Trainings camps are producing best soldiers for 100% efficiency. With that settings you don't have any problems with upgrading: you have enough resources to run economy without building you are upgrading now. Only economy settings are important: if you pick too less wares to be produced (until building stop), you will have lack of product while upgrading or moving from production site to correct warehouse. einstein13
