Hi there, I'm just trying to record my game and share it with friends. However, I am now struggling in doing that. Do you guys know any software to record it?

I highly appreciate your suggestions.

Hi FrankLee and welcome to the forum face-smile.png

If your friends have Widelands installed you can provide the replay. A Replay consists of two files named .wrpl and .wrpl.wgf and are stored in a folder named 'replays' in the widelands home directory

If you want to record as a video it depends on the operating system. For windows use a search tool (google, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia) and search for the term 'screenreader'. For linux there is 'kdenlive' or simply 'recordmydesktop'.

Maybe Open Broadcaster Software? It's free and open source just like Widelands.
