Hi there, I'm just trying to record my game and share it with friends. However, I am now struggling in doing that. Do you guys know any software to record it? I highly appreciate your suggestions. Top Quote |

Hi FrankLee and welcome to the forum If your friends have Widelands installed you can provide the replay. A Replay consists of two files named .wrpl and .wrpl.wgf and are stored in a folder named 'replays' in the widelands home directory If you want to record as a video it depends on the operating system. For windows use a search tool (google, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia) and search for the term 'screenreader'. For linux there is 'kdenlive' or simply 'recordmydesktop'. Edited: 2021-12-04, 15:54

Maybe Open Broadcaster Software? It's free and open source just like Widelands. Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked Top Quote |
