What is also important to say is that no one should activate all addons at once. The addons with craftsmen, food production, terraforming and trading do not work very well with each other. Please only use one of these in addition to the main addon.

The background for these new addons is that I wanted to slim down the main addon so that the in-game upload is less affected. In addition, everyone can choose their favorite variant of the economy and not have to use all buildings.

Another important note: If you use the addons to the main addon, please make sure that the last two blocks of the version number are identical. Only then are they 100% compatible. I numbered the addons like this on purpose.

Xubuntu 24.04 Widelands 1.2 release

Europeans addons:

  • base 1.6.5+8
  • main 1.6.5+5
  • agriculture 1.6.5+2

I cannot see any building to choose except:

  • small: Basic Lumberjack`s Hut, Basic Quarry, Guardhouse
  • middle: Basic Well, Barrier, Basic Tower
  • big: Basic Fortress

Where are other buildings ?

You need to choose the human player starting condition, not the AI condition. In the AI condition some buildings are released after some game time, not on start time.

Can You add Hunter hut or another building to kill all wild animals (they are lot at some maps)...?

If you start the game with only an expedition, then the reed is missing. This does not allow the construction of a small farm, a main farm, or a reed yard. Because of this, further development is not possible.

There are a few basic changes for the upcoming update: There will only be one level of expansion for most buildings. The "Normal" level will be eliminated. In addition, the Agriculture add-on will include hunters and fishermen again, as this was requested by some users.
