I got Widelands today and I love it, but I have encountered a problem in the second tutorial. Once I establish my economy and build the quarry in the northeast no more objectives appear and the game continues with nothing to do. Can anybody help me with this? ![]() ![]() |

Did you expand to the mountain east of your starting position? ![]() ![]() |

Hi
For me, I still play this yesterday...
...and I was wondered too at this stage in the game. Still read the order, that you must have to do exactly and let the workers they work do - after a time, you will became a new order... and: extend your region to the east to south-east - after a time, you will found a enemy. Greetings... Joachim

thanks for your replies. i did as the objectives told, and expanded to the northeast and built the quarry. at that point my objectives window went blank and i was stuck. i will take Akeem's advice and expand to the south-east and see if that works. ![]() ![]() |

I've played the second tutorial some days ago and after i had finished all orders (the last one was to upgrade my coal mine and the tavern) i got a "You win - if you like play on" message. The only thing i noticed is playing on would be difficult, because i was not able to build a brewery at this point, so no more food for the upgraded mines ![]() ![]() |

hmmm I think, maybe 'gorgoroth000' even plays the first one in second tutorial - if it is so, maybe he (she) still not see (or read?!) the message 'You win' - and for this, there is nothing to do in his (her) game. My advice IIRC meens the second game in second tutorial - hope, gorgoroth000 still read here again. Greetings... Joachim
