I was wondering, it takes about 75 minutes to get a fully promoted atlantean or imperial soldier. Barbarians instead need some 140 minutes, and most of this time is needed to promoted the blacksmith. A slight reduction in experience needed (say, 18 instead of 24) would let barbarians get their heroes a few minutes earlier and smoothen their transition in the midgame

On our first archipelago sea match in the last tournament I needed just 90 minutes. And there it is much more complicated than on other maps. I think that it's no big deal to get a fully promoted barbarian soldier on normal maps within 75 minutes So I'm not sure if this change would be needed. Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked
