While the barbarians have means to add wildlife, the other tribes don't. Fine from a gameplay perspective, but it can make the map look a bit empty.

Suggestion: Once in a while a sheep escapes from the empire sheep farm, and a boar escapes from the empire pig farm. This should be rare enough not to affect balance much. But it would add a nice touch, making the map a bit more lively. And in a big empire with many pig and sheep farms it might even make the hunter a not-totally-useless building even in the later game.

We could even have the escaping animal as an additional animal produced, thus not affecting the balance at all.

I like it. not sure, though, if a casual player would ever realize that those animals are escaping from the farms

And I would like to see sometimes escaping a giant spider from the atlantean spider farm. The game lacks giant spiders face-wink.png

Giant spiders would be fun, if somebody would make the animations for it... we still lack many animations for the buildings that we already have in the game.

This was just a parody suggestion face-wink.png

Why wouldn't it affect the balance? The effect will not be strong at all, but it will exist

You are right, the balance would be changed a bit because the hunters won't turn completely useless once all game is exhausted (as long as there are no Barbarians around to poach from...).
