Just a screenshot on different terrains:

different

I think king_of_nowhere is right. An GunChleoc is partially right face-grin.png

A good solution is maybe to make the big circles darker (like CunChleoc wants), make turquoise parts transparent (or partly transparent) so the color of terrains shines through, and remove all trees (like king_of_nowhere wants).

Just an opinion face-smile.png DragonAtma: Thanks for your contribution. In the end we will have new cool stuff and you're one of the developers!

And the road with its end point that is painted underneath the building will shine through as well. face-sad.png

We can't have a transparent ground in buildings, which is why DragonAtma painted the tiles in the first place. face-wink.png

Ah... you're right (as ever) face-smile.png

I still like the first shot mostly. Trying to rebuild the road pattern for the floor doesn't look good in my opinion.

Maybe using the green texture from the dungeon would look best?

The green texture form the dungeon is grass, which some people want me to remove. But the Atlanteans are fond of grass; they use it on all but the smallest military buildings (even in deserts), so it feels reasonable to me to keep the grass and trees.

Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find a suitable solution.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's another attempt!

And if the bushes bother you, you can always pretend that they're dryness-tolerant.

Maybe I am not a good voice for this topic, but I like all of attempts! face-smile.png I can't see the major difference between the buildings and I can't see the problems except "road connections" between flag and building gate.

The road connections are just a matter of defining the correct hotspot in the init.lua.

As to the trees, Atlanteans are technologically advanced, so they probably have irrigation face-wink.png

New screenshot - I think we have a winner face-smile.png

Final?

I have added the graphics to the branch.

I'm glad you like it; that means i can turn to working on the empire's conscription center (or whatever we decide to call it).

And yes, the weather is definitely better. New York is basically on the boundary between warm and cold; some winters we get four inches of snow, and some winters we get four feet of snow.
