At the end, when I've built the shipyard, it says "No use for ships on this map!", and then no ships are made.

Any suggestions?

Might it be, that you started the map with Build16, saved the game, installed Build17 and continued the game with it? If yes, than that is the cause of the problem. If no, we have to search for the problem on another place.

However there are two ways to fix this:

  • if it's the way that I guess (see above), you could restart the map and play from the beginning. The bug should not appear again, if you play it with build17 from the beginning on. However this might of course be a bit time consuming, so maybe you prefare:
  • to fix the saved game: unpack the saved game (it's a zipped directory) and add/replace the "port_spaces" file inside the "map" folder of the saved game with this one - you don't have to rezip the saved game afterwards. just take care to save the directory (containing the saved game data) inside ~/.widelands/save (c:\Users\<your username>\.widelands\save on Windows) and to give it a name ending with ".wgf"

Hope that helps. face-smile.png

Ah, your assumptions are correct, and your solution worked wonderfully:)

Thanks!
