Here's the error message:

./Applications/Widelands.app/Contents/MacOS/widelands; exit dyld: Symbol not found: ___stack_chk_guard Referenced from: /Applications/Widelands.app/Contents/MacOS/widelands Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib

Trace/BPT trap logout [Process completed]

Anyone know what I should do?

Cheers!

Ah. I've just been poking around and it seems that Widelands only runs on OS X 10.5 and higher. Anybody know why that is? Are there old versions which run on 10.4?

Cheers again,

Heather

If you have a mac, you can only compile for the version of Mac OS X you are running and the previous version. In that case we had only a machine running 10.6 available and thus we were unable to provide support for 10.4.
I. The old versions which will run on 10.4 are pretty old and I cannot recommend them.
II. You could try to compile widelands yourself.
III. Donate us some old hardware... and software... or just upgrade your os face-smile.png
