Hi Guys, I have a problem compiling the source I am using Debian Lenny. I have installed several packages - cmake boost and lua50 with their libraries as I can find them but I am still getting the following error message. Can you give me a list of the lua50 and dot tool files you think I need based on this error message? I know its a big ask but I just can't seem to get past this point. There is a huge list of files that follow the end of the message I have included here. Thanks in advance EastWind astrape:/usr/local/widelands-build15-src# ./build_and_run.sh Script to compile and run WidelandsCFLAGS= MAKEOPTS= -- Using compiler flags: -O2 -DNDEBUG -- Found GGZ_Core: /usr/lib/libggzmod.so;/usr/lib/libggzcore.so;/usr/lib/libggz.so -- Could NOT find Lua50 -- SDLMAIN_LIBRARY is SDLMAIN_LIBRARY-NOTFOUND -- Could NOT find Lua50 -- Looking for doxygen... -- Looking for doxygen... - found /usr/bin/doxygen -- Looking for dot tool... -- Looking for dot tool... - NOT found CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set to NOTFOUND. Did you figure it out? Can you install the following packages and try again? libsdl1.2-dev ![]() ![]() |

Hello again I decided to use my WiFi and download those files. I still have the following report with a complaint about not having variables set. I deleted the widelands directory and unpacked it again from the .bz2 file but it did not help. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I suggest to open a bug report with the full output attached and the exact steps to reproduce the problem. Also include the information about your OS and versions and the packages you have installed. ![]() ![]() |

OK, I have abandoned my attempt at compiling because I have just installed the "new" (new to me) Debian Squeeze, and in the repository of pre-compiled packages is Widelands version 15, which is what I was trying to compile. Thanks again for trying to help me. EastWind
