As we're nearing the release of build16, I'd like to encourage people to do some playtesting with the latest (trunk) development versions. This means you should play through the campaigns again - or play them if you haven't done so yet, particularly the new Atlantean campaign is pretty sweet. Even more, I would like to play some more internet games. I'll hang out on the #widelands IRC channel on Saturday afternoon (CET), and it would be great to get a larger game going, let's say around 14:00. ![]() ![]() |

build16 isn't ready yet. We'd use a recent version of trunk, e.g. r5875, which is currently the latest version. I don't know about prebuilt packages though - what are all the packagers (Windows, Mac OS X) up to these days? ![]() ![]() |

I think this is a great idea, but I think you'll need prebuilt packages for testing to enlarge the testing audience. Especially for Windows I guess. Many that will be playing (read: testing) trunk already have the knowledge of building it, but you can't expect everyone to dive into that. ![]() ![]() |

The most current build for Windows that is available that I know of can be found on Tino's website http://widelands.8-schuss.de/ I see little people. ![]() ![]() |

Yes, both builds are almost up to date, and should be compatible with current trunk for network games, although for next week we should agree on a specific revision sufficiently in advance...
