I've tried a few times to DL the client but it fails some time into the download, usually between 25 to 60% done. Tried on two different PCs and even using mobile data on my phone. Anyone got any ideas?

Hello Kwatz and welcome to our forums, Without any further information, it would be very difficult to solve yout problem. So which client did you try to download?

So which client did you try to download? Win 64 for which OS? Windows from which link? The download link for win 64 with which browser? Chrome for windows and chrome for andriod with which bandwith of your internet connection? Poor on the phone, good on the PC. Downloads at 200Kb/s, my PC connection downloads at 10x that much.

For me the link for windows 64 from our download page is working. Complete download last round about 1 to 2 minutes.

Thank you, it looks really good so far. Just cant seem to change hotkeys because they are bound to something else, is there a way to delete a hotkey?

I am not very familiar with hotkeys, but the corresponding setting can be found in Main Menu → Options → First Tab → Button "Edit Keyboard and Mousactions" Next time please open a new topic for each question

I played the game a few years back. I'm on a new machine and rediscovered Widelands. Excited to play again. However, I am also unable to download. I've tried multiple times and two different browsers. I couldn't estimate the %, but nearly complete, less than 1 minute to go. So which client did you try to download? Windows 64-bit, Widelands 1.2.1 (Released 2024-11-15) for which OS? Windows 11 from which link? via https://www.widelands.org/ and also https://github.com/widelands/widelands/releases/tag/v1.2.1: https://github.com/widelands/widelands/releases/download/v1.2.1/Widelands-1.2.1-x64.exe Network Error, failed at about 395MB with which browser? Firefox (current) and Edge (current) with which bandwidth of your internet connection? Currently testing at 9.28Mbps I was able to download: https://codeload.github.com/widelands/widelands/zip/refs/heads/master

Additional note: I was also unable to download the 32 bit version: https://github.com/widelands/widelands/releases/download/v1.2.1/Widelands-1.2.1-x86.exe Edit: I sent a previous reply and got a message that a moderator would review. I expected the same of this message but it went ahead and posted.
