Hi,
i want to host a Widelands Server.
Which port do i need to open to make it accessible from outside?
How do i publish the server and how do others join it?
Is it possible at all? :)

well the ports are:
7394, 7395 and 7396
but i think only 7394 is really needed the others are discoveryports for lan or so... but well not sure. I'll try to recover the multiplayer wiki page - would be quite usefull - wouldn't it ;)

Edit:
Okay I recovered it:
http://wl.widelands.org/wiki/GameHelpMultiplayer/

hope that helps :-)

Hello, I was trying to set up a remote server and when I port-forwarded the said ports above I still couldn't connect, after messing around a bit in the source code I found that there is a meta-server active that handles most of the workload of the internet side which is bound in port constexpr uint16_t kInternetRelayPort = 7397;, after port-forwarding the said port I managed to remotely connect to the server with no further issues.
