I agree it´s too dark, the lower half of the image is barely visible in the screenshot.

I think the blue lines don´t fit to Widelands at all, they just look way too futuristic. (Also they clash with the bronze color.)

The bronze-and-greyish theme looks good to me.

I thinks this proposal is nice, although i agree the things already mentioned. The problem with additional colors will be that if the background-, or button-, colors will change, the additional color will clash again. Maybe the blue lines should be transparent?

Anyway: Thanks Nytren for your work face-smile.png

Thanks again to all of you for the feedback. I think that the above mentioned points also apply. I'll think it over again and rework everything. I think I'll be finished in a few days with a better result

I'm thinking about whether to use the logo 3d models. it would have the advantage that the light conditions would be better by a few things and that there would be a better result in the end. But that would be associated with a greater effort of course its time costs how do you think about it?

If the 3d model isn't too deep, just try that face-smile.png

Didi you know that the font (widelands.ttf) is shipped with each installation?

BTW. Is there a specific reason why this font isn't used any more? I guess it doesn't fit all languages, but couldn't it be used for those languages where it does?

It can only be used for the logo, because the number of glyphs in it is very small.
