Hi guys, I've just started playing the game and I'm in love. The Settlers II is one of my favorite games, and Widelands hits just the spot. Anyway, I've seen you guys organized a tournament (that I'd love to one day participate) and I'd like to know where and how can I play multiplayer. Yupee!

Hi Soulblighter, great that you love the game! Maybe you'd like to watch some of the games in the last tournament? Multiplayer isn't very busy, so it's best if you arrange a date with others to play on the forums. Busy indexing nil values

You just turn up in the lobby when the game is schedules. People use this thread to post when they're playing. You will need a compatible version of Widelands. Part of the games will be played with Build 19, part of them with a current development build - it's the players' choice. Busy indexing nil values

I organize one tournament every year; I'd make it two per year, but there aren't enough players for it. Normally multiplayer lobby is empty otherwise; I organize tournamens because most people won't even try to set up multiplayer games otherwise.

We might have a game scheduling module one day. That might help with the "lobby is empty, waiting is boring" part.
