We don't have any official way to introduce new members here,

I think such a thread would be a nice idea. A thread where people could introduce oneself. For example one could tell how he/she is stumbled over Widelands...

G'day helach, if you are interested in carrying your day job onto widelands you might be interested in the translation project at https://www.transifex.com/widelands/widelands/dashboard/

New players are advised to check the tutorials then try out some of the scenario's. In the latest development versions of WL the AI players are getting a bit more intelligent and more of a challenge for new players. The main thing is to have fun.
