Topic: game freezes and cant load savegame

Hi guys,

     build15,, playing away happily then screen blinks ( blacks out for maybe 100msecs) playing fullscreen, after it blinks I have taskbars from desktop top and bottom of screen, mouse is frozen, this lasts maybe 3 secs ( the time DOES vary) then screen blacks out completely and music stops

stays this way till you mouse click, screen reappears but STILL has taskbars top and bottom a second later screen blinks and game goes back to full screen,

when I try start saved game I get this error game data error reading basic info for tribe "atlanteans":[/home/joe/desktop/widelands/widelands-build15-rc1-src/src/profile/profile.cc.768] in "tribes/atlanteans/conf" section [initializations] not found

I was playing as barbarians

is this is possible related to desktop effects? I had similar effects on some machines with fullscreen applications under recent versions of kde4 and gnome. I have all desktop effects disabled on my machines because they have side effects with fullscreen and/or hardware accelerated graphics.
