most of them are, but can't really vouch for that. i suggest you leave organizing tournaments to people with more experience, but you can ask them if you can help in some way.

Thank for confirming they are balanced. For your reflection, i don't see any tournament organized, and i will soon stream some Widelands.

Most of maps in that package (chosen one) is balanced. "Skirmish" package was dedicated for multiplayer games. For example Single-player don't have balance in most of cases. Also you can choose any other types of maps by searching them. But remember: those maps are chosen from Widelands' server. So not all maps are included! einstein13
