Map: EastWind Islands
Description:
The perfect place to raise animals and grow vegetation. There are also plenty of minerals if you know where to look.
Hint:
Mine all the rocks that block the way or send a ship to find large gold deposits. Also look for golden Standing Stones for small deposits. Fish between the pillars. Visit the tiny Island by ship using manual navigation.

I hope you like this map. I have been playing widelands for several years but only decided to try and build my own maps last year. It took me a while to work out how big to make it so that I did not get bored playing single person games. Comments please

What is the ferries tag? I have only just discovered artifacts. I will think about spreading them out. I will limit the number of animals in my future maps. Can I replace this map with an update that has less animals? As you can see I am new to submitting things to this site even though I have been playing Widelands since the late 1990s. Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. |

A technically interesting map, gets quite difficult with hardcore starts, but that is good. Perhaps a few to many animals, not sure about the artifacts placement they might be better spread out more. Would benefit from having the ferries tag added.
