Hey I played your game and its very nice. ;) But now ive got problem/question... I wanted to change some graphics - just for fun - but there arent any pics in my files! In the file of Wideland there are a lot of files with data, but i just dont see it. But i know that they are in the file because the files are 2MB or something like that. Do i have to extract graphics somewhere? Or isnt it possible to change them?

Its the same with all of the other data like sounds and scripts... ?!?

I would be really happy, if i get an answer. Yussuf :)

Hallo Yussuf and welcome here!

The graphic files are mostly of .png type.
You don't see them because they have the "hidden" file attribute set.
If you're on Windows, open an console window in \widelands and type:
"attrib -h *
.* /S" (without the quotes)
That should do the trick.
If you're on any other OS, you must wait for others to help.
In this case, you should write what operating system you are on.

The graphic files mostly have an alpha channel to support tranparency.
Keep that in mind. Also, I am not sure whether there are certain limits
as to the size. So you're driving at you own risk face-smile.png
have fun!

Being no programmer, I apologize for all my suggestions that imply undue workload and for other misjudgements due to lack of expertise or relevant skills.
I am on Win32, have no means to compile, and rely on prefabricated distributions (Thanks to Tino).

Yussuf, especially graphics skills are highly valuable in our community. Instead of 'modding', please consider participating in the main development of the graphics.
