I also try to add explanations in the source code for strings that might be difficult. If you have a question regarding a specific string, you can open an issue on Transifex and I will help you there - I think this will be the easiest way to stay organized.

The explanations appear in the "Details" tab on the bottom right in Transifex.

Ammm I see a problem in the translations.

I really don't know how to name it in english, but the translators understand me.

We are translating in "voseo", with "usted". But then i read "tu". That is "tuteo".

So, I think blending them make sound a sentence so bad.

E.g.:
"In this tutorial, you will learn what option Widelands offers to adjust your economy. Recommended for players with some experience."

"En este tutorial, aprenderá (voseo) las opciones que Widelands le ofrece (voseo) para ajustar tu (tuteo) economía. Recomendado para jugadores con poca experiencia."

I think, the correct form is: "En este tutorial, aprenderá las opciones que Widelands le ofrece para ajustar su economía. Recomendado para jugadores con poca experiencia."

I write this for the translators in Spanish. To see what they think about this.

Edit: If nobody say anything I will modify this to sound of the best way.

You can add this information here: https://wl.widelands.org/wiki/TranslatingWidelands/#additional-instructions-for-language-teams (make a new page for Spanish).

Every translator is advised to read that page (the whole one) and will then finally find your instructions. Whether you use tú or usted in your translation is up to you/to all people who translate into Spanish.

If I'm not bad, the wiki here it's not going to be upgraded because is much old information in every upgrade. If we don't go to upgrade the wiki here I think the string 59 of Texts have to be deleted or modified:

"If you need more documentation or help for Widelands or the Widelands Editor, be sure to visit our homepage at %s. You can find online help in our Wiki there."

Maybe "You can find online help in our forums there."

Or, find someone to manage the wiki face-tongue.png

Ups, I see is not the only one.

107: "Please have a look at our enduser manuals on our wiki pages at: %s" 108: "Those pages might be more complete and up to date than this file, and you will also find a short tutorial about building a map there."

The loading screen tips are found here:

https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~widelands-dev/widelands/trunk/files/head:/txts/tips/

I think it will be nest to go through them, the wiki and the readme files when we get close to the next release.

I have created a bug as a reminder: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/1530846

Thanks GunChleoc face-smile.png

I'm proud to tell that the translation to spanish is almost done. I have to translate the Barbarians campaign and some strings more and, It's done.
