I'd be happy seeing which file types are allowed for the profile picture, why the image file wasn't accepted (size, width/height (too little/too high), tile type, corrupted file, something else) and a nicer alignment. Ideally, this would be shown in a small text when loading the page at all face-angel.png At least for the file type, I found these for attachments in the forum: .jpg , .jpeg, .gif, .png. Are they the same for profile images? Screenshot for clarity (hopefully)

Except *.svg all standard image file formats should work for the profile. More precisely: All image formats which are supported by Pillow are allowed. The size shouldn't also matter.

What format gives you trouble?

We hadn't trouble about the profile image in the past... But of course we can add a note about supported file formats…
