Yes, I am reading the forum. But I don't have many things to speak. About my site: I know that it is down for a while (2-3 weeks?). The server was down for about a week, and my friend managed to restore all data, but not configuration yet. I think that he has some personal issues. Maybe it is time to buy my own domain + set up a server? Sorry for inconvenience. einstein13 ![]() ![]() |

No, this is not a hobby that I want to take on. I can't afford the upload bandwidth, I don't have the time and knowledge to keep up-to-date with security patches on the server, and what happens if I am traveling and the server goes down? I am hosting with a smallish and very capable company that I have never, ever had any issues with. They once even moved to different premises without any outage whatsoever. And they take care of the domain registration extensions for me, so I can't forget and lose the domains. They are worth every cent of the money that I am paying them. Of course, some hosting companies are total crap, I guess I got lucky Busy indexing nil values ![]() ![]() |
