Since Widelands version 1.1 the game has an add-on manager where one can provide his own add-on to other players . Add-ons can be accessed , installed and uploaded via the button in the main menu . ¶

Add-ons are splitted into categories . By default all add-ons are shown in the add-ons manager . They can be filtered by category , quality and by entering a search term . ¶

If you just want to provide a single map as an add-on you can upload it directly in the map editor by using the menu entry "Publish Map Online" in the main menu . ¶
If you have created several maps and want to bundle them to a map-set you'll have to use the add-ons manager , see below . ¶

# Upload an add-on in the add-on manager ¶
¶
To upload anything else than a single map you have to use the "Development" tab in the add-on manager . ¶
Because add-ons can contain malicious code they have to be reviewed and this can take some time . ¶
So don't worry if your new add-on isn't shown up Immediately in the list of add-ons . ¶
