The Sumatrans Tribe is a Add-On Tribe that is not included in the default game of Widelands .

To play this Tribe there are required Widelands in Version 1.1 or higher .

In the Addon Manager you can find : sumatran_tribe.wad and sumatran_world.wad Addons by OIPUN that are required for playing this Tribe .

Tips for playing

If your economy reaches the tribe target, woodcutters will no longer cut down trees. They will also no longer cut down palm trees.
This means that leaf collectors can no longer collect palm leaves, as no more palm trees are being cut down by woodcutters.
This can lead to you no longer having any palm leaves in your economy.
