It would be cool if hunters could hunt the pack animals (donkeys, oxen, horses, reindeer etc) of enemy tribes. This will slow down their transport and also provide meat. However, if the hunter goes too near an enemy defence building (guardhouse etc) a soldier will come out and fight him and if he dies the enemy gets the meat he was carrying.

I like the idea of hunting the pack animals of the enemy, but not when they are on "active duty", but after you destroyed a warehouse, port or HQ and they run out of it without direction.

Interesting idea, but it would need careful balance. Letting hunters kill enemy pack animals could add strategic harassment, yet it risks being frustrating or exploitable (easy eco griefing, snowballing). Limiting it to border areas, adding strong guards/penalties, or making pack animals retreat to safety could help keep it fair.
