Good idea. I'll also incorporate the suggestion to move "Tutorial" and "Continue" to the singleplayer dropdown. So on the left we'll have SP, MP, Replay, Editor; on the right Options, About, Exit, and soon Add-Ons (equal numbers of buttons will look best). Will do that and also add the leaves this afternoon

I think it's fine, except the bottom: The Copyright string isn't visible anymore. Maybe just leave the grass? And now there are three elements floating around, where two of them don't fit with the logo. What if we create a new scroll and use it for all three elements? The one for the logo scrolls horizontally, the ones for the menu vertically? Here a mockup: Of course the colors do not fit... Edited: 2020-08-10, 17:48

Like this? I really don't like those leaves. And while we could design a better scroll (this one is just the tips banner rotated 90°), I think it does not look well – especially as it needs to be scaled to fit for various display aspect ratios. I like this one (buttons on the left, logo towards the right) best, with this one (same plus the scroll background for the logo) a close second. Edited: 2020-08-10, 18:34

well I would still like to have 2 columns but as one element in the middle under the logo. I believe this would fit with the colour, transparency and shade of your favorite design. Maybe a bit more transparency. Can you provide a shot with a background image and a screenshot to see whether it fits

Well I think it would draw away attention in the top from the image. Furthermore it would fit better in the bottom with the same colour as the copyright. For the logo can we have it a big bigger (x2) to be more prominent as without the scroll it is a bit lost.

That would look good in 800×600 but it is pretty obtrusive at a larger scale: The button background is also a bit too transparent now imho Edited: 2020-08-11, 05:25
