Hello

I recently have a problem starting some of my saved games. After about a second of loading I get:

"Game data error -- Economy:Player:4:Stream ended -- unexpected (0 bytes read, 4 expected)"

I play in German so it came up for me as:

"Spieldatenfehler -- Wirtschaften:Spieler:4:Stream ended -- unexpected (0 bytes read, 4 expected)"

I hope I translated correctly. Thanks

Hi RubenCarner and welcome face-smile.png

This is strange... can you please provide the used widelands version and the OS?

Can you also upload such a savegame somewhere? Uploading here is only possible if you have posted at least 5 posts...

I know this bug too, from b19, I might have seen it also in b20, not sure. Linux.

It's really nasty because it the save is useless without a fix and I don't see a way how to fix it.

@Ruben: You could still try to load an older auto-save or try to create a savegame from the replay (watch the replay fast and use the save button - it will create a multiplayer save which you can load if you host a direct-IP game for example) - with some luck the bug doesn't reappear. It's very rare.
