That might be the best way, or am I wrong? Exactly: Ctrl-click always discards wares. Normal click offers a checkbox in the confirm dialogue which is checked by default. Okay, this might also be fine, because I guess that one could also destroy the building immediately when the discarding process is already triggered. So ctrl+doubleclick should do the trick if I want to get rid of the building as fast as possible. Off topic: There is a bug: If you destroy in the latter case a constructionside, it doesn't just vanish like it should (others do that), but it leaves a burning building.
