The release candidate is for testing if it doesn't contain any critical bugs.
I think that 2 weeks per turn is rather too long... But maybe there is a solution. What about more flexibility in a tournament? If everybody plays one time against any other participant, it's not necessary to wait for other matches. On the other hand this could be bad for the tension.
First problem with that, if we are 15 people, asking everyone to play 14 games is too much.
Yes, that could be too much. At the other hand this disadvantage wouldn't exist if the player number would be low.
