A fix is up on https://github.com/widelands/widelands/pull/4800

However, I couldn't reproduce the bug and only had your log to fix it. So please replace your src/ui_basic/multilineeditbox.cc with this one and test, whether the bug is fixed.

Thank you! I rebuilt the flatpak with your change, and the problem is gone.
