Unfortunately the AppVeyor builds use version numbers which don't include the Git hash. This is also inconvenient when trying to match versions when playing online, so if it's possible to include the hash in those builds' version numbers it would be helpful. (might apply to Bazaar as well?)

Allowed versions of Widelands are build19, build20, bzr9220 , master5937, master6226, master6448, master6646, amazons5970, amazons5953 , amazons6086, amazons6762 or any other official version which is replay-compatible to the others. Recommend version is amazons6762.

Hopefully I got them right:

Nordfriese has included the commit hashes in the commit messages when we mirror to Launchpad, so we should be able to parse them from there in our revision detection script.

I'm not familiar with the Windows packaging; Tino should know more.

Would it bother anyone if I would remove build19 from the list? After all build20 is also on the list, so including build19 might have been a mistake.

Okay!

I'd like to mention a little bug here: Replays often end earlier than they should. Reason: Closing the match doesn't count as "action" and replays end with he last action.

Yeah, it's a bit misleading, but at least you can continue watching if you know it's not supposed to end at that moment. face-smile.png

So it mean that before closing I need to for exemple build something ?

What I do is pause the game, save it, and that's all... After that I take the two files of the replay and zip them.

I see a difference of time between the two files but don't understand why face-smile.png

As niektory notice, you can continue watching and you see the time when the Hero is finished face-smile.png
