Hello,

I keep getting this problem that when I use the terrain tool in the map editor, the program shuts down imediately without warning. The other tools appear to be working fine. Does any one know a way around this problem?

Regards,

and some more important questions face-smile.png :

what version are you using?

on what System (Windows XP, Windows 7, Mandriva Linux 2010.0, Mac OSX, ...) are you running Widelands ?

Did you download that version or did you compile it yourself?

Cheers

Hi, thanks for the replies,

Im running Xp professional, and the game version is Build 15. I havent changed anything in the software. If its not a known problem, its probably just my laptop so no worries.

I dont know what you mean by standard output, so I cannot respond to that question.

Regards,

In Unix like systems you get an output in the terminal. But as XP do not have that facility the output is written to a file. I am not using any windows versions. but it think the output file is something like STDOUT well Im not the best person to talk about this windows stuff face-upset.png
