Hasi50 suggested to include a new song: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/1834750

Maybe this sounds a little bit harsh, but I'm not for including it. Imho the song is rather depressing, and build20 brought already 3 or more depressing new songs. Don't you guys create any happy music? face-wink.png

But your "Frisian Song" is nice, Hasi50....

Edit: Oh, and if I'm already here: What about creating a new ingame option, an "ignore list" for tracks? I guess everyone gets the idea...

I really liked it personally, I find it more charming in the ambiance. But I understand it can be taste!

I don't know, happy music all the time makes me a bit silly at the end. I like the different type of ambiance. If you listen to other games, they don't only have happy songs.

Well, I like it. I don't think it's so depressive face-smile.png it's quite bouncing in some parts, and also calm. as the carriers depending of wares demand...

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this song. The polymeter makes it sound a bit weird. I don't find it particularly depressing though.

Agreed!

I think it would be a useful feature. Different people are bound to have their own favorite and not-so-favorite tracks. I like most music in Widelands, but I got tired of Silkweaver Song, for example.

Yes, but only few non-happy songs are depressing...

I experimented a bit and played a bit faster it isn't that bad in my opinion. Only the beginning is a bit boring in my eyes.

The only way of skipping songs right now is to deactivate and activate the music in the sound options.

I really would like to have some form of music player UI that allows players to do this more easily.
