Egyptian Mandala

Description:

They hardly had time to prepare themselves when they embarked for this island. According to your explorers, however, things will not go as easily as you were told earlier. You should expect fierce opposition. Expand your base and be the first to reach the ring of power.

Comment by uploader:

The map is suitable for both 2 and 3 player teams, and is difficult to win against the computer, especially when all opponents are united in one team and start with citadel or castle villages. Supports seafaring.

For some reason the port spaces are missing. I checked everything before uploading but still something must have gone wrong. It is however not necessary to play the map with port spaces, I actually never did.

b.t.w. This problem has occurred multiple times with other maps, like missing port spaces or port spaces at wrong positions (e.g. outside map).

I guess the problem is a different one: Port spaces of maps created with build17 are incompatible to the one created in current development (resp. future build18) - so unfortunally if you open the map in newer builds, they will be gone. This problem occurs due to a change in the building logic after build17 ... unfortunally :(.

One more reason to get the "update map" feature for this map upload section.

There has been no change on my computer (where the problem occurred) in the game version, it is still build-17(release). But I don't remember exactly what steps I had made, which is the reason why I didn't file a bug report. Maybe I can provide one in the future.

"due to a change in the building logic after build17"

I read herein that build-17 maps are incompatible with build-18 maps, at least when it concerns port spaces. I have not yet seen build-18 of course.

I found the answer: the port spaces became invisible as a result of changing the origin of the map. In fact they are still there. This may also explain the port spaces out of the map.
