one of the players can host the match. if the game desyncs or some other bug appears and the players cannot agree who won the match, Kristin will have to make a referee decision.

The question turned up in the chat: Will the replays be public, e.g. put on the webpage somewhere?

I wouldn't mind...

I will upload the replays and link them on the wiki page (http://wl.widelands.org/wiki/WLTournamentTwentyTen/#replays) if none of the players dislikes that. So one can learn from the own and other's games.

Nasenbaer is making excuses for not having a working Widelands installation so I think I should be crowned winner by default. These time-wasters make me so mad ;-P

Hello Widelanders, Gannaf and I want to play our tournament match but we can't get too far...

In Windows with bzr5539 we need to take Hamachi to join each others servers, but the game crashes after a few minutes. When joining each others savegames it says "Irgendetwas ist schiefgelaufen: basic_string ..." and we can't join.

In Ubuntu with bzr5522 we cannot join each other either, it tells that the server is not reachable.

How did you manage to play?
