Hello, when i play on huge maps, i'm bored with spamming "there are no tree any more" messages. (it's due to my forest management) Is it possible not to receive them, but still receive every other message ? Top Quote |

I believe there was a suggestion to make notifications configurable, but I am afraid nobody found time to work on this. Top Quote |

Actually you could maybe turn them off by modifying your Widelands. Problem would be that you cannot play online with this version then properly. Open init.lua in /widelands/data/tribes/buildings/productionsites/barbarians/lumberjacks_hut and set the "productivity threshold" to 5 or another low value (it's a percentage). This is for barbarians, you can also do it for the other tribes accordingly.
That's a pity, because imho this is one of the biggest bugs in Widelands. For example it's very annoying that you get always messages if you play a match where it's about gaining resources by exhausted mines. Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked Top Quote |

I have opened an issue with some ideas for solutions: https://github.com/widelands/widelands/issues/3639 Busy indexing nil values Top Quote |
